Easy Candied Orange Slices
The cooking process is simple and when done you have slices of sweet, chewy oranges that aren’t bitter.
You can leave them coated glossy and sticky in the syrup or, dip them in white sugar for a fancier look.
How to Make Candied Orange Slices
Wash and slice the oranges in to thick slices. Boil in water for about 8 minutes. Drain and cool.
Make a simple syrup, add the slices and simmer until reduced. Remove from the heat and cool.
Air dry on a wire rack for 24 - 48 hours. Store in an air tight container in the fridge until ready to use.
