Making your dry ranch dressing mix is easy and is great to have ready in the pantry for making quick ranch dips or ranch salad dressings. Not only is it healthier than store bought it is budget friendly too!
60grams(2 ounces / heaped ½ cup) buttermilk powder see notes below for a substitute
2tablespoonsdried parsley
1tablespoondried chives
2teaspoonsgarlic powder
2teaspoonsonion powder
1teaspoondried dill
½teaspoonsalt
½ - 1teaspoonground black pepperoptional
Instructions
Place all the ingredients to the bowl of a food processor, pulse until well combined about 1 – 2 minutes.
Store in a dry airtight for up to 3 months.

BUTTERMILK POWDER SUBSTITUTE60 grams (2 ounces, ½ a heaped cup) of whole milk or plant-based milk powder and 3 level teaspoon of cream of tartar.HOW TO USETo make ranch dressing:
combine ¾ cup milk and
½ cup mayonnaise and
½ cup sour cream with
3 tablespoons of this seasoning mix.
Stir well and keep in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving. To make a dip:
Mix 2 tablespoons of this ranch dressing mix with
½ cup mayonnaise and
½ cup sour cream.
Mix in up to ½ a cup of milk until you reach your desired consistency. Stir well and keep in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving. --------This recipe makes 3 tablespoons, which is equivalent to one 30-gram (1-ounce) packet of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix.
