Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup milk of any kind
  • 2 - 3 tablespoons dark chocolate chips add to taste
  • 1 teaspoon sugar or to taste, optional
  • pinch of salt optional

Topping ideas (optional)

  • mini marshmallows
  • whipped cream

Instructions
 

  • Heat the milk and chocolate in a small saucepan over medium heat until the milk becomes steamy and bubbles form around the sides of the pan but don't allow it to boil.
  • Remove from the heat, add the sugar (if using) and salt (if using) and stir well until the chocolate is smooth and melted.
  • Serve hot with desired toppings.
