White Chocolate Sauce

Make this homemade white chocolate sauce! It is super easy to make with three ingredients and it can be ready in less than ten minutes.
Use this smooth white sauce to drizzle over cakes and desserts, use it as a flavoring for drinks, or serve it as a delicious dip for fruits.

Equipment

  • Small saucepan
  • Large metal spoon or heat-resistant spatula
  • A clean dry jar or container for storing at least 1 ½ cup capacity

Ingredients
  

  • 120 ml (½ cup) of cream
  • 230 grams (8 ounces) of white chocolate, chips, or chopped bar
  • 10 grams (2 teaspoons) of butter

Instructions
 

  • Heat the cream in a small saucepan over medium heat and remove it from the heat when it has just started to boil.
  • Add the white chocolate chips and butter to the saucepan.
  • Use a metal spoon or spatula to stir the mixture until smooth.
  • Let the sauce cool before serving or transferring it to a clean dry jar.
  • Store it sealed container in the fridge for up to a week.

Notes

Note: The sauce will thicken when chilled. You can either allow it to come to room temperature or heat it in the microwave oven in 20-second increments or gently heat it in a saucepan until warm and smooth.
